A: Yes! There are ten training missions and each one is aligned with a Common Core Standard. If you look closely (like a good Agent does), you can see which mathematical standard is being address in each mission.
For example, Mission 9.0 relates to CCSS3.NBT.A.3.
Q: Is my child’s information collected if I download the app?
A; No. We value each Agent’s privacy and do not collect any personal information. Our mission is to provide kids with an edu-taining outlet to explore and we do not need personal information in order to do it.
Q: How long will my child have access to the Squixy app?
A: Your child will have access to the Squixy app as long as they wish! Although the missions in the physical book may be completed, your child can always revisit its pages to locate the triggers and enjoy exploring, watching tutorial videos, or playing our games!
Q: Can multiple kids have access?
A: Since no personal information is collected, it is up to each Agent if they want to share their triggers and allow a sibling or friends to enjoy the Egyptian Equation game. Here at the Intergalactic Reality Service, we value teamwork and hope our Agents share with others when given the opportunity.
Q: Is there a management tool or dashboard for teachers?
A: Since no personal information is collected, teachers will not have digital access to students’ progress. However, the book is a great tool for informal assessment and can help identify or reinforce specific areas of need related to multiplication.
